Whew! This picture took me HOURS! I remember planning it out in my Shakespeare class. This was for Hime-chan's contest, before she and I were so close. As of October 2007, it has been rescanned and edited.

I wanted to do a picture of Chibiusa and her senshi that would look something like a manga cover. The background really makes it "pop".

Yes, I know they are both girls. But if genetic engineering advances, this could be what Haruka and Michiru's daughter could look like. This picture made it to the semi-finals of the contest it was for.

More "What If" art. I had never, never seen the Asteriod Senshi with their hair down, so I decided to take a crack at it.
I'm still undecided with this picture. I only computer colored it because I thought it would be quicker--just sketching and inking it took FOREVER. But I think a lot of the detail was lost. I still have the original, so I might color it by hand one of these days. As of November 2007, it has been rescanned and re-colored.

I don't know where this idea came from, but I think it's so cute! I tried to make the little princesses' personalities come through. As of October 2007, it has been rescanned and edited. Since I was unable to duplicate the original exactly, the original was moved to Storage - Random Extras.
:) I am so proud of this picture! Vlad lent me a book on nudes in art and I copied a picture of the Three Graces (hence the name) to be the three royal ladies of the Moon Kingdom. It came out so good, every step of the drawing, that I kept being tempted to leave it at whatever stage it was at, so as not to ruin it! But I'm pleased with the overall effect.
To be honest, these are five separate drawings. I wanted to draw the Asteriod Senshi and their princess more grown up and refined, such as for a society "coming out" party. I needed good background, though, and that was when the idea of taking a photo of a grand ballroom struck me. I liked this one so much, I decided to use it for all five! Needless to say, this was majorly cged.
I swear I used to know how to shade with Prismas...once upon a time...at any rate, hey, at least the colors are vibrant.

Another one of those ideas that looked so much better in my head. Sigh.
It's been a while since I drew, so I used a copy of Astonishing X-Men #15 to help me find inspiration.
I don't know how it came to me, but suddenly I pictured the Three Lights dressed up as Josie and the Pussycats, and I knew I had to draw this.
Okay, so, clearly I had this idea in 2007, when the new CG version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came out, and it took me three years to draw it, when clearly I would've been more relevant back then. Or I should've waited for the sequel. Nevertheless, it was a funny idea (to me) and I didn't want to sit on it any longer. And the other funny thing is, about halfway through inking the picture I thought to myself, "Self, this is a weird assortment of senshi", because really when would three of the inner senshi be hanging out with just Saturn, and then it occured to me, that these four Sailors are the exact four Sailors that my cosplay group, Outer Power Inner Beauty, usually cosplays! Strange but true!

I've had the Three Lights on the brain a lot lately because I talk to my friend Patti every day, one of my favorite Seiya cosplayers. This drawing just popped into mind one day--after all, they could have just as easily revealed themselves to be girls on Earth.
