Well, this is it. The final "main" form of Sailor Mars I had yet to do. Don't get me wrong; I'm not done with Mars by any stretch of the imagination (Avian Firefly is working on her summer school uniform for me as I write this, in fact) but to my way of thinking, this was the last "important" version of Mars I had to touch upon. And so, I turned to the maker of my original Sailor Mars fuku, and my Eternal Sailor Mars fuku, Setsuna Kou.

I'm not really sure why I left it to last. The original fuku being done first makes sense, of course. And I guess I don't see as much of a difference between original and Super as I do between both of those and Eternal, and Eternal is my favorite of the three anyway. But the more I looked at those tranluscent sleeves, the more I wanted them. :)

It was pretty fun to wear. Just comparing this latest costume to the very first costume I ever got from Setsuna, even a non-seamstress like me can see just how refined her sewing techniques have become. And the broader sleeves and wider bow definitely make my waist look slimmer--always a good thing. I'd really love to wear this costume again for a large group of Super Senshi, so if anyone is planning a shoot and needs a Mars, let me know!
