Sailor Moon has been influenced by Art Nouveau before; the dress Prince Demand puts Usagi into when he kidnaps her is direct copy of a lithograph by Alfons Mucha. I mention on the cosplay page how wonderful it was to plan out and create these costumes together, so we were all a little emotional to begin with, but as it turned out, this was also David Ng's very last shoot at his very last Otakon*.
