I don't remember now if I had conciously decided that I wanted my next EGL dress to be pink, or if I was just browsing YinYinCS's eBay store on a slow day and happened upon this dress. Either way, I fell in love with it: it was very toned-down for an EGL dress, and reminded me of dresses I had worn when I was younger, and of dresses you saw on secretaries in 1970s sitcoms. Thanksgiving was coming up, and I thought this would be a nice dress to wear to Louis's house for dinner.

I didn't get the dress in time for Thanksgiving, and unfortunately I didn't have an event to wear it to for a long time afterwards (all right, I wore it at Easter, but no one took any pictures of me at Easter.) The next year I decided to have an EGL tea party for my birthday, in part for something silly to do and a chance to see my friends, but also to give me a chance to finally wear this darn dress!
